BURBANK, Calif.—The Armenian National Committee of America — Burbank (Burbank ANCA) encourages Burbank voters to meet the 2015 City Council and School Board Candidates at a series of meet-and-greet events.
Along with other community organizations, the Burbank ANCA was represented on the City Clerk’s “I Vote 4 Burbank” committee charged with improving voter turnout in local municipal elections. These events are one of the products of the committee’s work.
For those who are not yet registered to vote and want to participate in these elections, the Burbank ANCA has commenced a last-chance voter registration effort, part of the local Hye Votes program, in the two weeks remaining before the deadline. Interested citizens can request forms or assistance by writing to media@ancaburbank.org or by calling the Burbank ANCA office at (818) 562-1918.

The Primary Election ends on February 24 and the General Election will end on April 14. Readers should note that the last day to register to vote for the primary election is February 9. These events will provide an informal setting to get to know the seven City Council and six School Board Candidates.
