Am 11. Dezember 2014 fand in der Diplomatischen Akademie Wien eine Veranstaltung mit dem Titel “Der Erste Weltkrieg, das Ende des Osmanischen Reiches und die Folgen” statt. Verschiedene Personen, darunter auch der Botschafter der Türkei, hielten über dieses Thema einen Vortrag, wobei der armenische Genozid vollkommen ignoriert wurde.
Vertreter des Österreichisch Armenischen Komitees für Gerechtigkeit und Demokratie sprachen daraufhin dieses Thema an und betonten, dass die türkische Regierung den Genozid nicht nur leugnet, sondern auch Druck auf Staaten ausübt, welche diese historische Tatsache anerkennen wollen. Unser Vertreter fuhr mit der Frage an den türkischen Botschafter fort, wie man dieses Problem lösen könne. Die Frage blieb jedoch nicht nur unbeantwortet, sondern wurde mit Empörung aufgenommen – trotz großer Zustimmung der anderen Anwesenden.
“The first World War, the end of the Ottoman Empire and the consequences”
On Thursday, 11th of December of 2014, “The first World War, the end of the Ottoman Empire and the consequences” event was held at the diplomatic academy of Vienna.
Completely overlooking the topic of the Armenian Genocide several speakers, including the ambassador of Turkey, held a presentation about this topic.
Representatives of the Austrian Armenian Committee for Justice and Democracy addressed the issue emphasizing that the Turkish government not only denies the occurrence of the Armenian Genocide but also exerts pressure on governments that want to acknowledge and recognize this historical fact.
Despite the positive reception of other participants of the event, our representative’s questions to the Turkish ambassador about possibilities to resolve this issue remained unanswered and disregarded.
Վիեննայում Թուրքիայի դեսպանը խուսափել է պատասխանել Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին հարցադրումներին
Վիեննայի դիվանագիտական ակադեմիայում կայացած միջոցռամանը Ավստրիայում Թուրքիայի դեսպանը խուսափել է պատասխանել Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին հարցադրումներին:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով Հայ դատի կենտրոնական խորհրդի կայքը, դեկտեմբերի 11-ին տեղի է ունեցել «Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմ, Օսմանյան կայսրության վերջը և դրա հետևանքները» խորագրով միջոցառում, որի ընթացքում մի շարք բանախոսներ, այդ թվում` Թուրքիայի դեսպանը փորձել են շրջանցել Հայոց ցեղասպանության թեման: Սակայն Ավստրիայի Հայյ Դատի Հանձնախումբը անդրադարձել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության խնդրին` շեշտելով, որ թուրքական կառավարությունը ոչ միայն ժխտում է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, այլև ճնշումներ է գործադրում այլ կառավարությունների վրա, որոնք ցանկանում են ճանաչել այդ պատմական փաստը:
Չնայած միջացառման մյուս մասնակիցների դրական արձագանքներին` խնդիրը լուծելու հնարավոր ուղիների և հնարավորությունների վերաբերյալ, Հայ դատի ներկայացուցիչների հարցը Թուրքիայի դեսպանն այդպես էլ անպատասխան է թողել:
