ANCA CV to Host Private Armenian Art Exhibition

CRESCENTA VALLEY, Calif.—The Armenian National Committee of America — Crescenta Valley Chapter in collaboration with Stephanie’s Art Gallery will be hosting a three-day private Armenian Classical and Contemporary Art Exhibition from Dec. 12 to 14 at Stephanie’s Art Gallery (466 Foothill Blvd. La Canada, CA 91011).

The opening reception will take place on Friday, Dec. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m., continuing on to Saturday, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., and the last day of the event, which will take place on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 12 noon to 5p.m. The Art exhibition will range from oil paintings and drawings to watercolor Armenian pieces dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries. Artists in the current exhibition include Arthur Pinajian (1914-1999), Jean Carzou (1907-2000), Jean Jansem (1920-2013), Edgar Chahine (1874-1947), Richard H. Tashjian (b. 1926), Richard Jeranian (b. 1921) and Koko.

Community members are encouraged to join ANCA CV at Stephanie’s Art Gallery to explore a wide range of Armenian Classical and Contemporary Art pieces, learn more about Armenian history and culture conveyed to us through the paintings and to support ANCA CV. A portion of the proceeds, from the paintings sold, will be donated to ANCA CV, which in turn will support ANCA CV’s goals and projects directed towards the advancement of the Armenian Cause.
