Following the Armenian National Committee of the UK’s request, Mr Stephen Pound, MP for Ealing North, secured an adjournment debate in the House of Commons on Tuesday 11th of February.
The Debate, entitled “Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan”, allowed Mr Pound to raise his concerns over recent ceasefire violations directly to Mr Mark Simmonds MP, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
During the debate, Mr pound highlighted the recent incursions whilst also mentioning the Safarov case and next year’s 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
