Յուլիս 5, 2016ին Իսրայէլի Քնէսէթը օրակարգի վրայ ունենալու է քուէարկութիւն պաշտօնապէս ճանաչելու Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան բանաձեւը:
Առ ի յիշեցում Յուլիս 8, 2015ին քնէսէթի կրթական յանձնաժողովը քննարկելով ճանաչման հարցը որոշում կայացուց եւ քնէսէթին առաջարկեց անհապաղ պաշտօնապէս ճանաչել Հայոց Ցեղասպանութիւնը: Քնէսէթի խօսնակի խնդրանքով նախապէս սոյն քուէարկութեան որոշուած 31-5-2016 թուականը յետաձգուեցաւ վերոնշեալ թուականին: Նկատի ունենալով վերջին օրերու Իսրայէլ-թուրքիա յարաբերութեանց «վերականգման» իրողութիւնը հսկայական ճնշումներ կայ հարցը օրակարգէն վերցնելու: Ի պատիւ բանաձեւը ներկայացնող պատգամաւորներուն ի մասնաւորի Մէրէց կուսակցութեան Զահավա Կալօնի ոչ մէկ զիջում կ՛ընէն օրակարգը վերցնելու կամ նոյնիսկ յետաձգելու: Նախատեսուած է բողոքի ցոյց քնէսէթի դիմաց քուէարկութեան պահուն: Առանց մանրամասնելու հարցը Երուսաղէմի Հայ Դատի Յանձնախումբը վերջին շրջանին առաւել վերջին շաբաթներուն օր օրի կը հետեւի զարգացումներուն գործ տանելով քնէսէթի կողմէ արդար վճռորոշ կեցուածքի ճանաչելով Հայոց Ցեղասպանութիւնը: Իսրայէլ պարտաւոր է ցոյց տա հակահայ իր քաղաքականութիւնը փոխելու ազդանշանը:

(ԱՐՄԵՆՊՐԵՍ, 30 հունիս) Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման հարցի վերաբերյալ Կնեսետից դրական ազդակներ են գալիս, սակայն պետք չէ մոռանալ, որ ներկա փուլում թուրք-իսրայելական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ են իրականացվում:
Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Հայ դատի Երուսաղեմի հանձնախմբի ատենապետ Հակոբ Սեւանը` անդրադառնալով հուլիսի 5-ին Իսրայելի խորհրդարանում Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցի սպասվող քննարկմանը:
«Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը չի նայում, թե այդ փուլում ինչ քաղաքական գործընթացներ են, ինքն իր գործը շարունակական կատարում է: Իհարկե, հասկանում ենք, որ թուրք-իսրայելական հարաբերությունների կարգավորումը կարող է ազդել գործընթացի վրա, սակայն մենք մեր գործը վճռականորեն առաջ ենք տանում: Մենք աշխատում ենք անընդհատ, մեր նպատակն է հասնել նրան, որ 1915 թվականին հայերի նկատմամբ վայրագություններն Իսրայելը ճանաչի որպես ցեղասպանություն: Կարծում ենք, որ հրեաները, որպես ցեղասպանություն տեսած ազգ, պետք է ճանաչեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Դա իրենց բարոյական պարտքն է»,-ասաց Հակոբ Սեւանը:
Հակոբ Սեւանը նկատեց, որ Կնեսետում Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման հարցի վերաբերյալ դրական տրամադրվածություն կա: Ըստ նրա, եթե ազատ քվեարկության իրավունք տրվի, ապա շատ պատգամավորներ կողմ կքվեարկեն:
Հակոբ Սեւանը տեղեկացրեց, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցի քննարկման օրը Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը հրեա գործընկերների հետ պահանջատիրական ցույց է անցկացնելու Կնեսետի շենքի մոտ:
Armenian Genocide recognition is Israel’s moral duty – says Hakob Sevan
(ARMENPRESS) In an interview with “Armenpress”, chairman of the Armenian National Committee of Jerusalem Hakob Sevan,
referring to the upcoming discussion on the Armenian Genocide in the Parliament of Israel on July 5, said there are positive signs from the Knesset over the issue of the Armenian Genocide recognition, however, we must not forget that at this moment works are being carried out towards the normalization of the Turkish-Israeli relations.
“The Armenian National Committee doesn’t take into account what political processes are being held at that stage, it just continues carrying out its activities. Of course, we understand that the normalization of the Turkish-Israeli relations can have an impact on that process, however, we move forward our activities. We work constantly, our goal is to make Israel recognize the atrocities against the Armenians in 1915 as genocide. We think, that the Jewish people, who also were committed to genocide, must recognize the Armenian Genocide. It is their moral duty”, Hakob Sevan said.
He said there is a positive attitude towards the issue of the Armenian Genocide recognition in the Knesset. He said if a right of free voting will be provided, many MPs will vote in support of the recognition.
Hakob Sevan informed that the Armenian National Committee together with the Jewish partners will hold a demand protest on the Armenian Genocide recognition discussion day in the Knesset.
On July 5 the issue of the Armenian Genocide will be discussed in the Parliament of Israel. On May 16 Speaker of the Knesset Yuli-Yoel Edelstein called the Government to recognize the Armenian Genocide committed by the Ottoman Turkey.
