On Monday, May 5, 2014, the California Assembly Rules Committee passed AJR 32, which encourages and supports Artsakh’s continuing efforts to develop as a free and independent nation, and urges the President and Congress of the United States to support the self-determination and democratic independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

As representatives of the people, our state legislature should embrace the acts of courage by thousands of Californians who risked their lives for the sake of freedom by supporting AJR 32.
