El d\u00eda jueves 13 de Febrero, la delegaci\u00f3n del Consejo Causa Armenia del Uruguay<\/a>, acompa\u00f1ada por el Primado de la Iglesia Apost\u00f3lica Armenia del Uruguay Arz. Hagop Kelendjian, miembro del Comit\u00e9 Central de la FRA Garo Hekimian, y miembro del Consejo Central Administrativo de la Di\u00f3cesis de la Iglesia Armenia del Uruguay Carlos Derderian, fue recibida por el Embajador de Suiza acreditado ante nuestro gobierno Sr. Didier Pfirter.<\/p>\n

El objetivo del encuentro era entregar al diplom\u00e1tico una carta para ser enviada a su gobierno, explicando la posici\u00f3n de los armenios referente al fallo del Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos sobre el caso Perincek, solicitando al gobierno suizo recurra la sentencia.<\/p>\n

Durante el di\u00e1logo mantenido en la ocasi\u00f3n, fue evidente que el se\u00f1or Embajador no solamente est\u00e1 al tanto del caso Perincek, sino adem\u00e1s conoce la causa en detalles.<\/p>\n

A lo largo del encuentro, que se extendi\u00f3 por m\u00e1s de una hora, fue notorio tambi\u00e9n que el Embajador suizo est\u00e1 ampliamente informado acerca de la Cuesti\u00f3n Armenia y los justos derechos y reivindicaciones del pueblo armenio, ya que, seg\u00fan sus palabras, desde a\u00f1os se interesa en los temas relativos a los armenios y los trabajos en pro de la Causa Armenia.<\/p>\n

Al t\u00e9rmino del amigable encuentro, el Sr. Embajador se comprometi\u00f3 hacer llegar la carta entregada a la brevedad a su gobierno<\/p>\n

Armenian community of South America met with Swiss representatives<\/h2>\n

21.2.14 Internacionales<\/b><\/p>\n

The Armenian National Committee (CNA) of South America held a series of meetings with Swiss representatives of Argentina and Uruguay to express the concern of the community regarding the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights in the case “Perincek vs Switzerland”. The CNA handed a letter to every Swiss representative stressing the “damaging consequences that could bring this ruling, not only for the fight for recognition and reparations of the Armenian Genocide, but also for the whole rules and principles of the international laws regarding Human Rights”. That is why we respectfully ask, through you, the Swiss State to appeal the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights”, added the letter.<\/p>\n

On 13 February the CNA of Uruguay met with the Swiss ambassador in Uruguay Didier Pfirter, who was fully aware of the Armenian issue and the just rights and claims of the Armenian people, because, in his words, he has been interested for years in the issues related to the Armenian Genocide. The Ambassador promised to deliver the letter to his government.<\/p>\n

On 14 February the CNA of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, handed the letter to the Swiss ambassador in Argentina Johannes Matyassy, and on 20 February the CNA of C\u00f3rdoba, province of Argentina, met with the Honorary Consul of Switzerland in Cordoba Dr. Ricardo J.
