Heute fand ein pers\u00f6nliches Gespr\u00e4ch zwischen Selahattin Demirta\u015f, Co-Vorsitzender der t\u00fcrkischen Halklar\u0131n Demokratik Partisi \u2013 HDP und Garo Chadoian vom \u00d6sterreichisch Armenischen Komitee f\u00fcr Gerechtigkeit und Demokratie<\/a> statt. Unter anderem wurde \u00fcber die Wahlen in der T\u00fcrkei und die guten Beziehungen zwischen der HDP und unserer Zentrale in Europa diskutiert. Demirta\u015f sch\u00e4tzte die Bem\u00fchungen f\u00fcr die Anerkennung des armenischen Genozids in \u00d6sterreich und betonte die Wichtigkeit der engen Beziehungen mit der armenischen Gemeinde in der T\u00fcrkei und der armenischen Diaspora.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend seines Aufenthaltes in \u00d6sterreich hatte Demirta\u015f ein Treffen mit dem \u00f6sterreichischen Pr\u00e4sidenten Heinz Fischer und wird seine Anh\u00e4nger heute um 18 Uhr am Museumsplatz 1 bei einer Kundgebung treffen.<\/p>\n

AACJD’s Chadoian, HDP’s Demirta\u015f Meet<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, Garo Chadoian from the Austrian Armenian Committee for Justice and Democracy met Selahattin Demirta\u015f, the Co-leader of the Halklar\u0131n Demokratik Partisi \u2013 HDP from Turkey, in Vienna. During the meeting, various issues were discussed such as the recent elections in Turkey, but also the relations and future cooperation between the HDP and our central office in Europe. Demirtas commended the efforts for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Austria and emphasized that close ties with the Armenian community in Turkey and with the Armenian Diaspora are very important to him.<\/p>\n

During his visit, Demirtas had a meeting with the Austrian President Heinz Fischer and will meet with supporters today at 6 pm at a public meeting at Museumsplatz 1.<\/p>\n
