La presentaci\u00f3n estuvo a cargo del Prof. Fernando <!--more Continue reading \/ \u0531\u0574\u0562\u0578\u0572\u057b\u0568  \u2192--> Djeordjian, docente y residente de la localidad. Cuenta con el auspicio del INADI Santa Cruz, del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/consejonacionalarmenio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Consejo Nacional Armenio de Sudam\u00e9rica<\/a>, de la Comunidad Armenia de R\u00edo Gallegos y ha sido declarada de inter\u00e9s provincial por la Legislatura de la Provincia de Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El objetivo de la misma es informar a la comunidad sobre el marco hist\u00f3rico en que se desarrollaron los acontecimientos vividos por el pueblo armenio en las primeras d\u00e9cadas del siglo XX y, como consecuencia, el proceso de emigraci\u00f3n hasta la Argentina, naci\u00f3n que lo recibi\u00f3 en forma generosa, y a la que aport\u00f3 esfuerzo y voluntad de trabajo por generaciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un mill\u00f3n y medio de armenios perdieron tr\u00e1gicamente la vida a trav\u00e9s de ejecuciones masivas, marchas forzadas, asesinatos, torturas, deportaciones, hambrunas, as\u00ed como en el horror y la crueldad de los campos de concentraci\u00f3n en los que muchos fueran internados. Esto sucedi\u00f3 cuando el Imperio Otomano estaba ya inmerso en su proceso de desintegraci\u00f3n, durante y luego de la Primera Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No obstante, el gobierno turco a\u00fan niega que ese genocidio se hubiese perpetrado. En su visi\u00f3n, se trat\u00f3 tan s\u00f3lo de cr\u00edmenes no premeditados cometidos en tiempos de intensa violencia, en los que no solamente los armenios fueron v\u00edctimas del horror de los conflictos. Por ello las autoridades turcas reaccionan \u2013 destempladamente y hasta con furia- ante cualquiera que sostenga o se refiera simplemente a la existencia del lamentable genocidio. Ocultando as\u00ed la verdad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta muestra fotogr\u00e1fica y documental, fue presentada anteriormente en la ciudad capital de R\u00edo Gallegos, en el Centro Cultural Santa Cruz.
