Mario Nalpatian e integrantes del\u00a0<a title=\"CNA Uruguay\" href=\"http:\/\/www.causaarmenia.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Consejo Causa Armenia del Uruguay<\/a> se reunieron con el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores Dr. Luis Almagro. <!--more Continue reading \/ \u0531\u0574\u0562\u0578\u0572\u057b\u0568  \u2192--> En el encuentro se abord\u00f3 la situaci\u00f3n en el C\u00e1ucaso Sur y las constantes violaciones al cese del fuego en Nagorno Karabagh por parte de Azerbaiy\u00e1n, lo que amerit\u00f3 una fuerte condena por parte del ministro. As\u00ed mismo, el canciller Almagro abog\u00f3 por el reconocimiento internacional de la <a title=\"Rep\u00fablica de Nagorno Karabagh\" href=\"http:\/\/www.causaarmenia.org\/?page_id=353\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rep\u00fablica de Nagorno Karabagh<\/a>, y su derecho a la autodeterminaci\u00f3n. Reivindic\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n el principio de integridad territorial de Armenia, de acuerdo a las fronteras de la Rep\u00fablica de Armenia independiente entre Mayo de 1918 y Diciembre de 1920.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La declaraci\u00f3n del canciller Almagro refleja un vasto proceso de aproximaci\u00f3n a la realidad de la regi\u00f3n por parte de Uruguay. En setiembre de 2011 el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores hizo p\u00fablico que <a title=\"Hist\u00f3rico Pronunciamiento del canciller Luis Almagro respecto a la cuesti\u00f3n de Nargorno Karabagh\" href=\"http:\/\/www.causaarmenia.org\/?p=220\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uruguay hab\u00eda iniciado el an\u00e1lisis del caso de Nagorno Karabagh con la finalidad de adoptar una decisi\u00f3n de Estado al respecto<\/a>. Desde entonces se han sucedido reuniones del canciller y altos funcionarios del gobierno uruguayo con los cancilleres de las Rep\u00fablicas de Armenia y Azerbaiy\u00e1n, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n con los respectivos Embajadores concurrentes en Uruguay. En el \u00e1mbito legislativo, decenas de legisladores tuvieron la oportunidad de entrevistarse con el Presidente de la Rep\u00fablica de Nagorno Karabagh <a title=\"Bako Sahakian fue recibido en el Palacio Legislativo\" href=\"http:\/\/www.causaarmenia.org\/?p=208\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en su visita al Parlamento uruguayo en diciembre de 2011<\/a>. A su vez, una delegaci\u00f3n parlamentaria encabezada por el entonces presidente de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes Dr. Jorge Orrico e integrada por legisladores se todos los partidos con representaci\u00f3n parlamentaria <a title=\"El presidente de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes de Uruguay visit\u00f3 Nagorno Karabagh\" href=\"http:\/\/www.causaarmenia.org\/?p=127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visit\u00f3 la joven Rep\u00fablica en noviembre de 2012<\/a>, entrevist\u00e1ndose con autoridades de los Poderes Ejecutivo y Legislativo, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n con organizaciones de la sociedad civil de Nagorno Karabagh.<br \/>\nEl tema tambi\u00e9n ha estado presente en las visitas realizadas por legisladores y dirigentes pol\u00edticos de todos los partidos a Azerbaiy\u00e1n desde 2011 a la fecha.<br \/>\nM\u00e1s recientemente, el tema fue abordado en la <a title=\"Los presidentes Mujica y Sargsyan exigieron el reconocimiento internacional del Genocidio Armenio\" href=\"http:\/\/www.causaarmenia.org\/?p=304\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declaraci\u00f3n conjunta firmada por los presidentes Jos\u00e9 Mujica y Serzh Sargsyan<\/a> en julio de 2014, en ocasi\u00f3n de la visita oficial del mandatario de la Rep\u00fablica de Armenia a Uruguay. Ambos presidentes remarcaron la necesidad de una soluci\u00f3n pac\u00edfica al conflicto de Nagorno Karabagh y respaldaron la mediaci\u00f3n del Grupo de Minsk de la OSCE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La declaraci\u00f3n publicada en el d\u00eda de hoy, se enmarca en el proceso iniciado por Uruguay, con el objetivo de contribuir a la seguridad y estabilidad en la regi\u00f3n del C\u00e1ucaso Sur, acorde a los valores tradicionales de la pol\u00edtica exterior del pa\u00eds de soluci\u00f3n pac\u00edfica de los diferendos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al finalizar el encuentro, Almagro envi\u00f3 su saludo a los pueblos armenios de la Republica de Armenia y la Republica de Nagorno Karabagh con motivo de la Navidad armenia que se celebra el pr\u00f3ximo 6 de enero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A continuaci\u00f3n reproducimos el texto oficial del Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de la Rep\u00fablica Oriental del Uruguay:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEn el d\u00eda de la fecha el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores mantuvo reuni\u00f3n con representantes del Consejo Nacional Armenio Mundial y Consejo Causa Armenia Uruguay. En el curso de la misma se abordaron temas de la regi\u00f3n del C\u00e1ucaso sur, manifestando el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores una fuerte condena a las violaciones del cese del fuego en Nagorno Karabagh por parte de Azerbaijan las cuales ocurren con cada vez m\u00e1s asiduidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, tomando como principal referencia los trabajos del Grupo de Minsk, cuyas conclusiones Uruguay aguardar\u00e1 para tomar su decisi\u00f3n sobre reconocimiento, reafirm\u00f3 la necesidad de una soluci\u00f3n pac\u00edfica sobre Nagorno Karabagh que tenga especialmente en cuenta el derecho a la autodeterminaci\u00f3n del pueblo armenio y el principio de integridad territorial de la Rep\u00fablica de Armenia conforme a sus fronteras como pa\u00eds independiente entre mayo de 1918 y diciembre de 1920 (previo a su sovietizaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores hizo propicia la oportunidad para brindar su saludo de navidad en el pr\u00f3ximo 6 de enero a los pueblos armenios de la Rep\u00fablica de Armenia y de la Republica de Nagorno Karabagh, esperando que la misma encuentre pronto su reconocimiento en el concierto internacional de las naciones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Montevideo, 4 de enero de 2015<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fuente:<br \/>\nComunicaci\u00f3n e Informaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica<br \/>\nMinisterio de Relaciones Exteriores<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Foto: Luis Almagro<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Uruguay&#8217;s Foreign Ministry calls for self-determination and recognition of Nagorno Karabakh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Uruguayan Foreign Ministry asked for the international recognition of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh and the right of its people to self-determination on Sunday January 4, after a meeting with Armenian representatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay Luis Almagro met with members of the Armenian National Committee of Uruguay and Mario Nalpatian, member of the International Armenian National Committee, to discuss the situation in the South Caucasus and the continuing violations of the ceasefire by Azerbaijan, which merited a strong condemnation from the Minister.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Almagro stressed the &#8220;need for a peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh taking particular account of the right to self-determination of the Armenian people and the principle of territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia under its borders as an independent country between May 1918 and December 1920&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;In September 2011 the Minister of Foreign Affairs made public that Uruguay had begun to analyze the case of Nagorno Karabakh in order to take a State decision about it,&#8221; said the representatives of Armenian National Committee of Uruguay. &#8220;Since then there have been meetings of the Chancellor and senior officials of the Uruguayan government with the Foreign Ministers of the Republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan and with the respective ambassadors in Uruguay&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;On the legislative front, dozens of legislators had the opportunity to meet the President of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh during his visit to the Uruguayan Parliament in December 2011. In turn, a parliamentary delegation led by President of the Chamber of representatives Jorge Orrico and legislators of all parliamentary parties visited the Republic in November 2012, where they met with officials of the executive and legislative branches, as well as with civil society of Nagorno Karabakh. The subject has also been present on the visits by legislators and political leaders of all parties to Azerbaijan from 2011 to date. More recently, the issue was addressed in a joint declaration signed by Presidents Jose Mujica and Serzh Sargsyan in July 2014, on the occasion of the official visit of the president of the Republic of Armenia to Uruguay. In the course of it, the subjects of the South Caucasus region were discussed, showing the Minister of Foreign Affairs a strong condemnation of violations of ceasefire in Nagorno Karabakh by Azerbaijan which occur with increasing regularity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, taking as main reference the work of the Minsk Group, whose Uruguay conclusions await to make its decision on recognition, he reaffirmed the need for a peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh that will take particular account of the right to self-determination of the Armenian people and the principle of territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia under its borders as an independent country between May 1918 and December 1920 (prior to Sovietization).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Foreign Minister took the opportunity to offer his Christmas greetings for the next 6 January to the Armenian people of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, hoping that it will soon find its recognition in the international arena of nations&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En el d\u00eda de hoy el miembro del Consejo Nacional Armenio Mundial Ing.
