{"id":2987,"date":"2014-07-25T12:34:44","date_gmt":"2014-07-25T12:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ancnews.info\/?p=2987"},"modified":"2014-07-25T12:34:44","modified_gmt":"2014-07-25T12:34:44","slug":"prelate-welcomes-member-of-the-anca-wr-america-we-thank-you-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancnews.info\/?p=2987","title":{"rendered":"Prelate Welcomes Member of the ANCA-WR \u2018America We Thank You\u2019 Initiative\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LA CRESCENTA, Calif.\u2014On Tuesday, July 22, Western Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, welcomed members of the <a title=\"ANCA WR\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ancawr.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANCA-WR<\/a> \u201cAmerica We Thank You: An Armenian Tribute to Near East Relief\u201d initiative. <!--more Continue reading \/ \u0531\u0574\u0562\u0578\u0572\u057b\u0568  \u2192--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants in the meeting included ANCA-WR Chair Nora Hovsepian, Esq., committee Co-Chairs Vanna Kitsinian, Esq. and Hermineh Pakhanians, ANCA-WR Government Affairs Director Tereza Yerimyan, and members Missak Kelechian, Ara Khachatourian, and Nora Yacoubian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ANCA-WR recently announced a collaboration with the Near East Foundation to honor the critical role of the Near East Relief in aiding survivors during and in the years following the Armenian Genocide, especially from 1915-1930.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The guests had come to discuss the efforts and role of various religious communities and churches in the aftermath of the Genocide and to receive the Prelate\u2019s blessings and thoughts as they move forward in their work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Prelate commended the members for their efforts in honoring the invaluable assistance of the Near East Relief and wished them success in their upcoming endeavors.
