During his tenure, Daylin has been the leading voice for the Armenian people by introducing a yearly resolution memorializing the Armenian Genocide. He has also educated Pennsylvanians on Armenian history and culture by hosting public expositions in the Capitol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt\u2019s been wonderful to see Daylin represent so many important issues in Pennsylvania over the years, including those important to Armenians. This was my first time volunteering for a campaign and I\u2019m glad that it was in support of Daylin,\u201d said ANC-PA and Armenian Relief Society \u201cArtemis\u201d Executive member, Madonna Kzirian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 13th District includes parts of Philadelphia and Montgomery counties, and many towns populated with Armenian Americans. The seat is currently occupied by Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, who \u2013 like Daylin \u2013 has been a strong advocate of Armenian American issues. Rep. Schwartz is vacating the seat in order to run for Governor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Members of the ANC-PA, which included Shant and Angela Aghajanian, Phil Nigon, Aram Frounjian, Madonna Kzirian, Gevork Dramgotchian, and Nora Kzirian, made calls to registered voters to encourage them to vote for Daylin during the upcoming Democratic primary on May 20. The winner of that race will go on to challenge the Republican candidate on Election Day in November.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt was a privilege to help Daylin\u2019s Congressional campaign today. As someone who lives in the District, I\u2019m looking forward to May 20 to do my part to help get the right guy in office,\u201d said ANC-PA and Armenian Youth Federation \u201cSebouh\u201d Executive member, Gevork Dramgotchian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Democratic Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, May 20.
