Un esfuerzo similar se hab\u00eda llevado a cabo en 2008 tras la asunci\u00f3n del entonces presidente Barack Obama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A prop\u00f3sito de Donald Trump<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(DIARIO ARMENIA) Pocas veces la elecci\u00f3n de un mandatario concit\u00f3 tanto laTrump jura atenci\u00f3n mundial. Ya desde el mismo proceso preelectoral, la carrera a la presidencia entre Hillary Clinton y Donald Trump ocup\u00f3 los titulares de los grandes medios period\u00edsticos de los cinco continentes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La mayor\u00eda de los analistas adjudicaba muy pocas chances al ahora nuevo jefe de estado de una de las tres mayores potencias del mundo. Sus propios correligionarios lo denostaban en los primeros tramos del recorrido previo a los comicios. Y Trump hac\u00eda todo lo contrario a lo que el manual de los buenos candidatos indicar\u00eda. Al contrario, se mostraba reaccionario, racista, provocador y hasta ofensivo, en una suerte de permanente transgresi\u00f3n a las reglas de conducta. Fue siempre pol\u00edticamente incorrecto con sus contendientes electorales, con las minor\u00edas \u00e9tnicas \u2013hasta trat\u00f3 de primate a la esposa de Barack Obama-, y no dej\u00f3 de amenazar con sanciones o medidas econ\u00f3micas perjudiciales a aquellos pa\u00edses que de acuerdo a su criterio \u201clesionaban\u201d los intereses comerciales estadounidenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pero, nadie advirti\u00f3 que mientras Trump distra\u00eda a todos con su poco ortodoxa campa\u00f1a electoral, segu\u00eda reuniendo adhesiones en las filas de un partido Republicano que, por un lado se espantaba ante la posibilidad de tenerlo como oponente a la casi segura candidata dem\u00f3crata Hillary Clinton, por el otro, el lado conservador m\u00e1s recalcitrante se ilusionaba con tenerlo al frente de la lista.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finalmente, Trump se llev\u00f3 puesto a sus oponentes que uno a uno fueron cediendo sus posiciones, algunos sin apoyarlo internamente, otros haci\u00e9ndolo con tibieza. Superadas las primarias, una gran parte del electorado todav\u00eda permanec\u00eda indiferente al \u201cpeligro\u201d Trump como algunos comenzaron a se\u00f1alar al candidato republicano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hasta el mismo d\u00eda de las presidenciales el electorado no crey\u00f3 en la posibilidad del triunfo de Trump, cosa que finalmente sucedi\u00f3 merced a varios factores, entre ellos la enorme abstenci\u00f3n electoral y el sistema electoral que lo favoreci\u00f3, pues alcanz\u00f3 la presidencia con muchos menos votos que su contrincante Clinton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trump acaba de prestar juramento como el 45\u00b0 presidente de los Estados Unidos. Ahora comienza una nueva etapa en la vida, primero de los habitantes de ese pa\u00eds, luego en la relaci\u00f3n de Washington y los dem\u00e1s pa\u00edses. Se ver\u00e1 cu\u00e1n ciertas fueron las afirmaciones, amenazas y promesas de un presidente que lleg\u00f3 a serlo gracias a la inhabilidad de su adversario electoral y la indolencia de decenas de millones de ciudadanos que no concurrieron a votar.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nArmenia y su relaci\u00f3n con la nueva administraci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poco dej\u00f3 entrever Trump sobre la nueva relaci\u00f3n con pa\u00edses como Armenia que de acuerdo a la l\u00f3gica del nuevo jefe de estado deben dejar de esperar la asistencia del T\u00edo Sam. La visi\u00f3n mundial o la pol\u00edtica exterior que pondr\u00e1 en marcha Trump son todav\u00eda una inc\u00f3gnita, m\u00e1s teniendo en cuenta de lo heterodoxo de los nuevos ministros o funcionarios de gobierno, seleccionados m\u00e1s por sus habilidades gerenciales que por su capacidad pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Armenia nunca se caracteriz\u00f3 por tener un v\u00ednculo aceitado con los Estados Unidos. Su Embajada en Washington jam\u00e1s pudo contrarrestar la actividad de la legaci\u00f3n turca y mucho menos la de la azer\u00ed. Los argumentos para justificar tal diferencia siempre se centraron en la parte econ\u00f3mica, jam\u00e1s en la inacci\u00f3n, apat\u00eda o inhabilidad de un servicio exterior armenio ausente en casi todos los pa\u00edses del mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por lo general, la mayor parte de la atenci\u00f3n de Washington se centr\u00f3 en el conflicto de Artsaj, con los vaivenes producidos por el continuo recambio de los referentes diplom\u00e1ticos encargados de la mediaci\u00f3n, algo que tal vez sorprende porque al cambiar uno de los actores principales, tambi\u00e9n var\u00eda el escenario, que dicho sea de paso es cada vez m\u00e1s opuesto a los intereses armenios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entonces, la responsabilidad de defender las reivindicaciones armenias queda en espaldas de organizaciones como el Consejo Nacional Armenia (ANCA) y en menor grado en la Asamblea Nacional Armenia de los EE.UU. Sus activistas deben redoblar esfuerzos para cubrir todos y cada uno de los estados y establecer v\u00ednculos amistosos con funcionarios y representantes, para luego constituir un lobby que bregue no s\u00f3lo por el reconocimiento del Genocidio, sino tambi\u00e9n luchar contra la negaci\u00f3n de Turqu\u00eda, combatir por el reconocimiento del Artsaj independiente y hasta, esforzarse por que cada a\u00f1o la asistencia econ\u00f3mica prestada a Armenia y Artsaj crezca o al menos se mantenga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En esa direcci\u00f3n, el ANCA acaba de dar a conocer un comunicado donde comienza felicitando a Trump por su acceso a la Casa Blanca, e inmediatamente despu\u00e9s marca inteligentemente los puntos clave de la relaci\u00f3n con Armenia. El ANCA pone de manifiesto as\u00ed, su intenci\u00f3n de colaborar con el nuevo gobierno en el nuevo recorrido que ya se comenz\u00f3 a transitar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Llega un nuevo 24 de Abril <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la din\u00e1mica de la relaci\u00f3n de los diferentes gobiernos de Estados Unidos para con su comunidad armenia est\u00e1 ya arraigado el breve discurso que los mandatarios ofrecen invariablemente cada 24 de Abril. La expectativa por que el presidente de turno pronuncie la esperada palabra que reconoce el crimen de lesa humanidad como tal, comienza a crecer cada comienzo de a\u00f1o. M\u00e1s, si el jefe de estado de turno formul\u00f3 anticipadamente la promesa de hacerlo como Obama. Pero, en su mandato fue mayor el desencanto y enojo de los armenios, cuando el dem\u00f3crata volvi\u00f3 a apoyarse en el t\u00e9rmino \u201cMedz Ieghern\u201d para tratar de cumplir con los armenios y no despertar la ira de una Turqu\u00eda que hace rato invadi\u00f3 el Parlamento estadounidense con sus prebendas merced a la actitud receptiva de muchos parlamentarios deshonestos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desconocemos cu\u00e1l ser\u00e1 la postura de Trump el pr\u00f3ximo 24 de Abril, sin embargo teniendo conocimiento de sus negocios tanto en Turqu\u00eda como en Azerbaidj\u00e1n, dif\u00edcilmente se salga del libreto ya establecido, conservando as\u00ed su buena relaci\u00f3n con los jerarcas de esos dos pa\u00edses. Ser\u00e1 importante entonces, la unidad de la comunidad armenia del pa\u00eds del norte que debe estrechar sus filas y marcar con vigor su presencia pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De todas maneras el ANCA jam\u00e1s bajar\u00e1 los brazos, gobierne quien gobierne, pues siempre son m\u00e1s importantes y trascendentes los deberes que protagoniza en beneficio de Armenia, Artsaj y los derechos sin reconocer de nuestro pueblo.
