GLENDALE—The Armenian National Committee of America — Glendale (ANCA – Glendale) hosted its annual Christmas party on Monday, Jan. 12, at Phoenicia Restaurant to thank and acknowledge its supporters for all of their efforts in 2014, and provide an overview for the organization’s 2015 plans. The evening brought together elected city and state officials, Glendale city management and commissioners, Glendale Unified School District and Glendale Community College representatives, in addition to the ANCA- Glendale’s sister organizations, community partners, volunteers, and supporters.
“We choose to host this gathering after the New Year in order to provide an opportunity for our friends, supporters, and honored guests to unite under one roof and embrace our common vision for 2015,” stated Tigranna Zakaryan, the ANCA- Glendale’s Community Outreach Coordinator. “Without their continuous engagement in advancing the Armenian Cause, we would not have the ability to strive forward in all of our grassroots initiatives which have led to the very community of people we had the pleasure of bringing together for this event.”
As a long-standing tradition of the organization, the evening also witnessed exemplary participation in a canned food drive in which all proceeds were donated to the Glendale Salvation Army. It is the commitment of the ANCA-Glendale to continue building upon existing partnerships with community-based organizations, and connecting the goals of the ANCA- Glendale to broader civic engagement efforts required for the continuous growth of the city of Glendale.
“We were very pleased and honored to have such a great turnout of so many friends, representatives and elected officials from the City of Glendale, Law Enforcement and Fire Agencies, Glendale Unified School District, Glendale Community College and other local and statewide legislative offices in attendance,” commented ANCA – Glendale Chapter Board Member Boghos Patatian. “The chance to have all these people, who are so close and vital to our organization and its efforts is very encouraging and it provides the ANCA – Glendale Chapter a great platform to showcase some of the accomplishments and objectives we pursued over the course of the last 2014-2015 year, and highlight some of the goals and priorities that we will be focused on for the upcoming 2015-2016 year.”

Գլենդելի Հայ Դատի Յանձնախմբի 2015ի Ծրագրերը
Ամերիկայի Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբի Գլենդելի մասնաճիւղը, ամանորեայ եւ ծննդեան տօների առիթով անցկացրած իր տարեկան ձեռնարկի ընթացքում ներկայացրեց 2015ի համար նախատեսուած ծրագրերը:
Գլենդելի Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբի տարեկան ամանորեայ հաւաքը տեղի ունեցաւ Երկուշաբթի, Յունուար 12, 2015 թուականի երեկոյեան, «Ֆենիսիա» ճաշարանի նոր դահլիճում: Միջոցառումը միտում էր ի մի հաւաքել քաղաքի ու համայնքիս պաշտօնատարներին, շնորհակալութիւն յայտնել յանձնախմբի 2014 թուականի աշխատանքներին աջակցող շրջանակին եւ ներկայացնել կազմակերպութեան 2015ի համար նախատեսուած ծրագրերը: Երեկոն նաեւ հանդիպման առիթ էր քաղաքի ընտրեալ եւ պետական պաշտօնեաների, Գլենդել քաղաքը կառավարող մարմինների եւ յանձնաժողովների, Գլենդելի հանրային դպրոցների կրթաշրջանի, համայնքային քոլեջի ներկայացուցիչների, քոյր կազմակերպութիւնների, համայնքային գործընկերների եւ Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբին աջակցող կամաւորների համար:
«Մենք այս հաւաքը կազմակերպել ենք Նոր Տարուայ այս առաջին օրերին, որպէսզի կարողանանք մեր ընկերներին, համակիրներին եւ քաղաքի պաշտօնական շրջանակներին միաւորել մէկ տանիքի տակ եւ կիսել մեր ընդհանուր տեսլականը 2015ի համար», յայտարարեց Գլենդելի Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբի համայնքային աշխատանքների համակարգող Տիգրանա Զաքարեանը իր բացման խօսքի մէջ:
Զաքարեանը ուրախութիւն յայտնելով, որ քաղաքի պաշտօնական անձինք ընդառաջել են յանձնախմբի հրաւէրին՝ յայտարարեց. «Առանց այս շարունակական ներգրաւուածութեան մենք հնարաւորութիւն չէինք ունենայ իրագործելու մեր նախաձեռնութիւնները»:
Համաձայն նախկին տարիների աւանդութեան, երեկոն նաեւ ներառում էր պահածոների հաւաքագրման օրինակելի նախաձեռնութիւն, որը ամբողջութեամբ տրամադրուելու է Գլենդելի «Սալվէյշըն Արմի» հիմնարկութեան: Դա խորհրդանշում է Գլենդելի Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբի շարունակական ջանքը համայնքային կազմակերպութիւնների հետ համագործակցութեան եւ կապի ասպարէզում ու վկայում քաղաքացիական լայն ներգրաւուածութեան նախաձեռնութիւնների շարունակականութիւնն ու աճը Գլենդել քաղաքում:
Գլենդելի Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբի անդամ Պօղոս Փաթաթեանը կազմի անունից ողջունեց ներկաներին եւ ներկայացրեց յանձնախմբի սոյն տարեշրջանի անձնակազմը՝ նրանց յամառօտ կենսագրականներով: 2014-2015 տարեշրջանի Գլենդելի Հայ Դատի յանձնախմբի կազմին մաս են կազմում՝ ատենապետ Արթին Մանուկեանը, Պերճ Կարապետեանը, Հիլմա Բալայեանը, Էդմոնդ Խաչատրեանը, Դաւիթ Գէորգեանը, Զարեհ Աճէմեանը, Արամ Մանուկեանը եւ Պօղոս Փաթաթեանը:
«Մենք շատ ուրախ ենք, որ մեր հրաւէրն ընդառաջուել է քաղաքի ղեկավարութեան զանազան օղակների կողմից, եւ այսօր մէկ յարկի տակ են հաւաքուել այն բոլոր անհատները, որոնց գործունէութիւնը այսքան մօտ եւ կենսական է մեր կազմակերպութեան համար: Այս երեւոյթը ինքնին մեզ պարտաւորեցնում է, որ աւելի մեծ ոգեւորութեամբ սկսենք 2015 տարին եւ կարեւորենք մեր նպատակներն ու առաջնահերթութիւնները յառաջիկայ 2015-2016 տարեշրջանի համար», յայտարարեց Փաթաթեանը:
Միջոցառմանը ներկայ էին՝ քաղաքապետ Զարեհ Սինանեանը, քաղ. խորհրդի անդամներ Արա Նաջարեանը եւ Փաուլա Դիւայնը, քաղաքի գանձապահ Րաֆֆի Մանուկեանը, Հանրային ծառայութեան տնօրէն Ռուբիկ Գոլեանը, ոստիկանապետ Ռոբերտ Քաստրօն, Հրշէջ բաժանմունքի գլխաւոր Հարոլդ Սքագինսը, Գլենդելի հանրային դպրոցների կրթաշրջանի օգնական վերակացուները, Կրթական խորհրդի նախագահ Գրէգ Գրիգորեանը, դոկտոր Արմինա Կարպետեանը եւ Նայիրի Նահապետեանը, Գլենդելի ուսուցիչների արհմիութեան նախագահ Ֆիլիս Միլլերը եւ փոխնախագահ Թալին Արսէնեանը, Գլենդելի համայնքային քոլեջի նախագահ դոկտոր Դ. Վիէրը, Գլենդելի համայնքային քոլեջի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահ դոկտոր Վահէ Փիրումեանը, փոխնախագահ՝ Թոնի Թարթագլիան, դոկտոր Արմինէ Յակոբեանը եւ ներկայացուցիչներ՝ կոնգրեսականների եւ այլ պետական գրասենեակներից: Ներկայ էին նաեւ «Ահարոնեան» կոմիտէի եւ քոյր կազմակերպութիւնների ներկայացուցիչներ, դրանց շարքում ՀՄԸՄ «Արարատ» մասնաճիւղի, ՀՕՄի «Սիփան» մասնաճիւղի, Հանրային դպրոցների հայ աշակերտների գրասենեակի, Հայ Երիտասարդաց Դաշնակցութեան, Համազգայինի, Մարիամեան-Դաւթեան կրթական հիմնարկի եւ մի շարք այլ կազմակերպութիւնների ներկայացուցիչները:
